There are many ways to get involved.
Join the board! Bring your skills and ideas, we need more active members.
Donate! Help us to reach our goals and support YOUR parks.
Tell us what you think. Come to a board meeting, the public is welcome. Meetings are quarterly. Please contact us for time & location.
Speak up for parks! As park advocates, we encourage all park users to let local, state and federal governments know how important parks, trails, and open space are to the well being of our communities. Unfortunately, as we are seeing now, parks are on the bottom of the list when it comes to funding and budgets. This can change when communities are actively involved with their parks and representatives.
The City Adopt-a-Park program is available to community groups, neighborhood groups, businesses, families, or individuals who wish to take an active role in maintaining the wonderful parks in the Snohomish area. Some of the tasks that groups can participate in are litter pickup, painting picnic tables or playground equipment, planting and tending to flowers, weeding, or raking. See link at right for more details.
