Parks and open space are important for everyone. Environmental, economic, individual, and community ~ the benefits of a thriving park system are well documented!
The town of Snohomish and it's surroundings are unique with many natural resources: lakes, rivers, historic district, and a pedestrian-friendly
downtown all contribute to its appeal. But most of all it's the parks that help to define us. From baseball fields in Pilchuck Park to the gazebo on Ave A, from the Centennial Trail to Cady Landing, from Lord Hill to the Heirman Preserve, we are truly blessed with numerous high quality parks and open space.
As a small community experiencing increasing development pressure, as well as the current financial challenges, it is imperative that legislators, planners, community, and YOU work together to retain, maintain, and commit to the future of parks in our community.
Be sure to check the Snohomish County web-link for information about our many county parks. Also, the City of Snohomish parks website for more detailed information.
